We have encountered many remarkable things throughout the past thirteen years; however there are some experiences that continue to amaze us! The following story is very meaningful to us; therefore we would like to share it with you! 10 years ago, Terri Lerner, the owner of Weddings, Inc, had the honor of marrying a bride by the name of Karen Marco and a groom by the name of Dean Chorney. The couple came all the way from Alberta, Canada and decided to have an intimate ceremony at the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotel with just the two of them. Okay, now is where the story gets interesting. Ten years later, still madly in love, they decided to come back to Orlando, Florida and have a vow renewal. They tracked down Terri and requested her services once again! Terri, being the amazing wedding coordinator that she is, decided to do her best to reinvent their initial wedding ceremony! She hunted down the same officiant, had an exact replica of their wedding cake created and even the same unique bridal bouquet! Their vow renewal location changed, but their ceremony was made perfect with touches of the past and promises of the future! Events like this keep our careers interesting and we are so happy to have been a part of their past, present, and future!

This particular wedding holds a special place in one of our Weddings, Inc employee’s hearts. All of the little details throughout this day added up to make Allison and Dan's wedding complete perfection. Starting the day off, the Bride and Groom exchanged gifts. Dan receiving a Batman drinking cup and shot glass and Allison receiving a something blue Zale’s bracelet! The girls spent their day being pampered getting their hair and make-up done and loving their Bridesmaids gifts (matching necklaces and bracelets). The groomsmen enjoyed their gifts from Dan which were personalized drinking flasks and pocket watches! Upon limo arrival to the venue; Allison snuck up behind her future husband and they had a "first-look" photograph! Dan's face was priceless upon seeing his beautiful bride. As guests were taking their seats in a candle-lit room, the bridal party lined up behind closed doors. Allison's God-Father/Uncle Ed had the honors of pronouncing them as husband and wife and he added his own personalized touch to the traditional wedding ceremony! During the service, a sand ceremony unified Dan, Allison and Allison's eight year old daughter, Grace as a family. The three of them stood around a glass heart filled with pink, green, and white sand while the song "Gracie Girl" was playing. Such a beautiful ceremony! Their reception was filled with all 170 guests dancing all night long!! Allison brought her own "Batman" garter and all of the bouquets were handmade from baby’s breath flowers! Their wedding cake topper was customized to fit the couple’s professions. One was a Fire Fighter Groom and the other a Respiratory Care Therapist Bride. During their reception they opened the floor to guests to share their memories with the couple and I could not believe how many people decided to say a quick few words! The love and support system these two have is incredible and I know that no matter where life takes them they will be okay because they have one another. Dan and Allison spent their honeymoon in Nassau, Coco Kay and Key West snorkeling, jet skiing and soaking up the sun. The two of them and Grace recently moved into a lovely home in Loxahatchee, Florida and are starting their wonderful life together! Grace cannot wait to have a sibling and I am so happy to have gained a sister-in-law and a niece. We are all so blessed to have them as a new addition to our family and we know they will have an amazing future together.

Ever wondered why wedding rings should be on your fourth finger and no where else?
There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese.....
Thumb represents your Parents.
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings.
Middle finger represents you.
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner.
Last (Little) finger represents your children.
Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back.
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip.
Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or
later.
Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)...., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to
lea d their own separate lives.
Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)...., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some
day.
Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT....., because Husband & Wife have to
remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!

When you think of a rustic wedding, you may think earth elements, the forest, a farm, the countryside. Down home charm, warm colors, a friendly atmosphere. Whether your frolicking in a field with the warm summer sun to take your wedding photographs, or your guests are sipping warm apple cider as the foliage changes colors in the background - a rustic wedding exudes charm and style.
